Pat paper mache on your base. Form it into the look you want. I recommend coloring the mache with tempera powder (water color paint) before mixing). When finished forming the look you want, sprinkle dirt over the mache and allow to dry. Once dry, turn your base over (outside) and tap the bottom to shake off any loose dirt. You can then spray with a matt clear coat. grayghost
