It may apply and is from "Zumwalt's Laws of the Laboratory" quote, "Experience and Progress is Directly Proportional to the Amount of Equiment Ruined". It is a corollary to "The Probability of Failure is Directly Proportional to the Number and Importance of the People Watching the Test"
