Game violations are a joke because they pale in comparison to other things that judges have to deal with. After a judge deals with a couple of stabbing cases in the morning, do you really think that he cares a lot about John Doe that caught a fish 2 inches smaller than the limit, or a person that caught 2 fish more than the limit. How about after dealing with a drug possession case, or a protective order case where a guy just beat the snot out of his wife/girlfriend.

Yes, I agree that the book should be thrown at people that violate the game laws, but a lot of the people out there hunting do not even know what the law is. Here in Maryland, the Natural Resources statute books are 2 volumes, while the Corporate statute book is one volume.

If the book cannot be thrown at people after their 3rd DUI, which is pretty much the case here in Maryland, how can we throw it at somebody for violating a game violation.
