It is unusual for the publication, but certainly refreshing and appropriate.
I got to my polling place at 6:15 this morning, and there was already a line about 100 deep. There are four precincts where I vote, however, and there were many more booths set up than ever before. I only waited about 30 minutes before I was able to fill out my ballot, the lines moved pretty quickly. They certainly seemed prepared this time.
Should be record numbers of voters turning out this year. It is a good thing to see.
