It's nice when it all comes together and the bowhunting gods smile down upon you, ain't it?
I arrowed a doe last Thursday that was hung up back at the cabin and made another shot on another doe on Saturday that I spent three hours tracking in 45 mph winds and freezing rain, sleet, & snow. Never did find the deer unfortunately. Got a complete pass through on my arrow (hit high with the wind) but I too saw very little blood. I am glad that things worked out for you and you found your deer.
I too also admire your gear-making skills. There certainly are not too many hunters that could make that claim! Well done!
