Those Geovids are good out to about 1350. I was ranging a hemlock tree yesterday at 1379, but that's all I could get. Thank god we had the Wild or we would have never have got a range on that deer.
We watched the wind. Every once in a while we'd get 10 mph bursts, but it was a steady 3.5 to 4 mph SW wind. I just punched it into my Exbal program on my Dell Axim and it was right on when we were shooting. Too many trees, if you look at the one picture I posted in the thread "New Spot"..look thru the scope. That's what we were shooting into at 1550 yards.
BTW my 7 RUM load is 91.5gr of Retumbo, 180gr Berger VLD @ about 3210 fps.
