Larry what Skeet said is very true. There are some that think they don`t mind recoil untill they feel it. I was almost scared to buy one from what all of the big bore shooters at the club were telling me. Most of the ones that shoot a PD 329 only fired 1 round. There are only a very few nuts that will fire a cylinder full. Get him a 629 and tell him to shoot it. I can only imagen what it would be like to stand face to face with a bear knowing it was him or me, but I can tell you I know I would want to be very good with what ever gun I had.
