LOL! I don't think the $3,000 is all payable up front. You definitely need the good grasp of ballistics but then you just keep spending money to get the next thing, then the next, then the next and before you know it, you'll need to buy a new truck to haul all of the equipment you just bought.

Fun is an understatement. There's nothing quite like it. I've been lucky enough to hunt and take deer a lot of different ways but long range hunting takes it to a different level. Those who scoff at it simply have no clue of how much it takes and how much you get back.
