Just another writer BSing to try and get some interest (positive or negative) in his mindless ramblings. The .270s are probably the best all-around deer cartridges.
You're not crazy, but I wouldn't put any weight on anything that writer pushes from here on out. Just for sheer morbid curiosity, who wrote that?
