Loaded up 40 rounds of Tripple Shocks for the boy's new deer gun on Sunday, and figured I might as well load up some more 7RUM cartridges. Needless to say I seem to take a little more time being maticulous about my long range rounds.
I got 20 fully loaded with Bergers, with another 15 resized and primed ready for loading. Man those ol cases sure eat up the powder. Nothing like dropping 28 grains of BL-C(2) in a .223 case! I had about 2 hrs into those 20 rounds, from resizing, cleaning primer pockets, measuring powder and seating bullets.
I figure another hr or two tonight and I'll have 50 ready for this year's deer season. I need to hit the range soon to make sure everything is still on. Spent most of this weekend hunting and finding the perfect load for the boy's .223
Ridge....gotta figure out a date when you can come up to our spot in Dec, even if it's a weekday. I think our license will run ya $101 and gets you a buck tag, turkey and small game. My welltender in our new area has been seeing some big boys, so there should be plenty to go around this year.
