Wind Generation

I do agree that they really aren't the prettiest things in the world..but neither are Nuc plants..coal generators oil refineries etc etc etc.. But they are necvessary in today's world. Heck there hasn't been a new oil refinery since about 1974. The NIMBYs all stop 'em. Heck there are places to build such things. Wind generators however are definitely obtrusive. But heck 3 miles off the coast?? But the point is if we can make electricity in any manner cheaply we should do it. I wanted to put a hydro electric setup in my irrigation canal..water flows through and makes elctricity..water board said it impeded the flow....It didn't(well maybe a tiny bit) and would not allow it. 6 months of the year the water flows through there at about 10 miles an hour.. Woulda been neat to get (free??) elctricity. As faar as what GOB said bout west Tx.. ha ain't just kidding. I wa down to San Angelo and holy cow..they have approx 500 sind generators around there.. They could park one up on top of my ridge in front of the house any day..They do pay rent ya know. Mo money
