that's too bad.. here we have the opposite problem (well did in some zones). Our mule deer & in some locations whitetail numbers were waaaay too high, just about to the carrying capacity of the land, to the point some areas were showing CWD (still not sure if it is related to captive deer or not, as some cases are in the wild where no cases in captive deer or elk have been seen)
Anyway, for several years now in my zone I have been able to take 2 does on draw (mule deer) this year is earn a buck with 2 does can earn you a buck tag.
Whitetail deer we can take one of each in my zone (I would have to double check that). Last year it was 4 we could take! More meat than I need, so I usually only tag a doe or 2, and save my whitetail tag for a big boy, which of course I never seem to find.. lol
