You got good advice so far from the guys. If you are using 4F and getting good spark, the issue may be too much 4F in the pan or covering the touch hole. Another area is getting a fast enough hammer fall. Sometimes folks torque the lock screw too tight and the hammer fall binds on the wood. Also, clean the inside of the lock and apply a drop or two of good oil on the tumbler/sear/etc.
