No not really on a buying spree. I buy and sell a few. mainly ones I would like to have. Some work out..some don't. I bought a Kimber 84 M in 260..and sold it..got a 308 later and sold it..both were accurate enough..just wasn't what I was lookin for..Ended up buying another 260...and it is a real shooter. Not all that much of a caliber..but it do shoot. Then I got a 338 Kimber 8400. Classic Select etc and it is a better shooter than I am ...by far. Gonna be my elk rifle I am a 1911 guy though..I was with the fellow when he bought the R-1. A few days later he hurt his back pretty badly..thought a chiropractor was gonna fix him up..and it went downhill from there.. Just got out of the hospital and since he has not worked for a while..needed some money and him being a friend..I bought it for what he had in it... quickly. It looks like a pretty fair 45..except for being SS. Gonna see how it works this coming week. Paying 650 for any new decent 45 isn't too bad. It is a what they call a R-1 enhanced..whatever that means. Guess I will find out if it is enhanced 'nuff to keep!. Going to the Bozeman gun show next weekend..mainly lookin for bullet moulds presses and dies..bullets etc may be on the menu also.. Keeps the wolf from the door and I enjoy buying and selling. Been doing it since oh gosh..1965 or so..Makes me feel uuuhhhh OLD??
