Great Job! I like your analysis and photos. I gather the darkening of brass with these various products is more, or less, permanent? In the Fall during ML sight-in, I rub the BP residue over the brass on my Hawkens. Before the guns are cleaned, the brass is dark brown.
After deer season, I use Brasso on the Hawken brass because I like a reflection shine on brass.
