I quess you didn't understand my question.I vacuum pack a lot of game also and I agree it works very well but, the bags and rolls to make bags are very expensive. Is there a sustitute bag to use to vacuum seal that is less expensive? TIA,Larry

you can seal any bag with those, my suggestion is use those big heavy duty freezer bags but cut off the zip lock, give them a whirle

You cannot use any plastic bag. While you can seal them you can suck out the air, that's why the originals have little channels built into them.

I cut mine long and use many of them over (after washing them with soap and hot water). Have used some as many 5 times. |
