Opening week report

Well, so far so good for my group (myself excluded )
On Weds, opening day, my father took a decent 2 1/2 yr old 6 pt. I had a small buck and doe walk by me opening morning, but the tag I have left says it has to have at least 4 points on one antler... so he walked. On thursday my buddy took a nice little 5 pointer. We only saw a couple of does after that but it was still a great time. Both of our sons came along to hunt with a camera. Some how these two never saw a deer (they might have had just a little too much fun together in the pop-up blind)
Looks like my son and I will get a chance to hunt some private land this weekend, which under our new laws will allow him to take a deer with a gun, so I have my fingers crossed.
I will get a few pics up here in a minute.

How is every one else doing so far?
