youth hunting

This weekend is the youth hunt for deer me and my younger son has built a nice blind and practiced his shooting for the last couple weeks.
Sat morn we were in the stand before lite and when sun come up we seen deer but they were just out of his range and i told him to hold off.
sat evening we went out about 430pm last year my son killed started seeing deer at 5pm we sat in the blind waiting.
About 5pm the farmer decides to pick up his feed bails me and the boy was not happy but this does not stop deer movement but try to tell this to a 12 year old on his first deer hunt.
Just after the farmer got his last roll and had not even left yet
About 600pm i hear a moter cycle getting close i look across the field here comes a jerk and a little kid on two 4 weelers i get out off the blind to head him off he sees me and takes off before i get to him.
Buy now my son is ready to go he has had it thinks he is going to see nothing i tell him to wait he will see some thing.
We keep waiting its getting darker skeeters are getting him bad i had to take my jacket and cover his head to keep them frome biteing his kneck he says he is ready to go in.
I tell him to wait for a half hour if we see nothing we can go and i start praying He covers his head back up sits back down and waits i keep looking
I keep glassing the edge of the woods hopeing to see the deer we seen in the morning i look to our right and see a adult doe standing right were i had his target when he was practiseing
it was about 75 yards.
I tell him theres a deer and he can shoot it he peeks over the blind he is excited and so am i.
He clicks off the safty and stands the deer looks at him and poses just like a sat morn hunting show and he shots it threw both lungs.
He is so excited he tells man was it worth it.
I will try to post picks later

Awesome hunt! Glad to hear that you were able to get the young one a deer even with some idiots doing their best to screw you up. That's a great memory you'll have for a long time!

Awesome story!
Good for him that he stuck it out...all that would have stretched my patience too.
We are proud of him!
