New .45 acp

Already have two Springfield 1911s, a 4"er I rebuilt and 1911 SS Loaded, so don't need anymore Springfields. But just picked up a new Springfield DX in .45 acp with a 4" barrel and two 13 round magazines, why, just because. Once I run it through a bunch of rounds and trials it'll become my truck gun. Hate to admitt that I'd get a .45 that wasn't a 1911, but it feels great in my hand. We'll see how it does, everything I've read is quite positive.

popplecop,

Springfield .45s are good guns-several of my Tuesday morning combat shoot buddies use them quite well. I have a few 1911s and 1911A1s on establishment and am working to wear them out before I die.

Adam

Yes, Adam but this is a plastic gun, never had one befor. Even the vast majority of my long guns are wood and steel. Have two 10-22s with plastic stocks, 1 AR 15 and one shotgun, now a handgun. Starting to lower my standards, but they do work.

Well I can pass on the guitars as I can hardly program my satalite radio. The only reason I have that is my love of music.
