Squirrel load?
Thinking about taking my trade musket out and trying to put a few squirrels in the frying pan. What do you all think a good load would be for fox & grey squirrels? I'm thinking 60-70 grains of FFg under a 1 1/8 0z charge or #5 or #6 shot (#5 preferable).
Anything wrong with my thinking? Any other suggestions? The musket is cylinder bored. Thanks in advance.....
