![]() In class today, I heard one of our ‘knowledgeable’ instructors (a GS-11) say the age old WRONG MYTH! And it makes me angry-angry-angry! I am sick and tired of this MYTH! No such bill vote was ever purposed for this! The only vote over anything German was, In January and February 1795, to officially publish a ‘Version’ of the US Constitution in the German language, for the immigrants from Austria, and the German lands. Heck there was not even a Germany (as we know it today) at that time. It was NOT to make the official language of the US the German language. PLEASE forward the heck out of this. I heard it too many times, repeated by supposedly intelligent people, AND IT MAKING MR MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAD. Thanks, Jon (still angry).
