Actually dan..no they aint..and probaly wont get it scored.
Braggin rights round here consist of "24 1/2" inside spread and 13 pts" vs a score number. You RARELY if ever hear someone belt out a score. It aint cause they aint worth scorin...just aint enough interest here fer it.

Ya know...there would be a few changes in the record books if more people scored their deer. Last year, a guy killed a buck not to far from my place....the dern thing looked like a BAD cross tween a moose and a elk. Somewhere in the vicinity of 25 pts....25" inside spread...tallest tine was 21 3/4 inches and none were "ringers" as we call em. My hand wouldnt halfway fit round the base of those horns.
Local old timer got him while they was runnin dogs. He'll never see a score....he'll probaly wind up like the jordan buck.
There's alot like that...I'll have to try to find some pics and post em...but even that is kinda hard to do.
Here's a couple of pics...I dont know what they scored..

Daggon right!!!! Those are some fine looking deer! Lilred is right. The only way most of these folks around here will get a deer scored is if some one in the family or a good friend takes it down there and gets it scored for them. Just the way it is. I can only imagine how many 160+ deer that have been killed and never have been scored

Hey ya'll...an update on the buck at the top of this thread. Tony entered it into the Deer Classic this year and took first place in the non-typical competition. (For gun)...biggest overall was a muzzleloader kill @ 247 5/16

The score was 220 13/16.
Lucky rascal....
