Friendly Insurance Warning
While I have full coverage on all my vehicles, our siblings tend to save a buck with only liability insc. Yesterday, daughter, had a guy do a left turn in front of her......despite the ole mans insistance they have U1 rider (non insured motorist) on thier policys, she did not.You guessed it...his DL was suspended/no insurance. Suit for unspecified damages and legal costs is next option. Dude is in slammer for DWLS/NPI. Meanwile, dad's gotta fix her Pathfinder.
Folks, this rider is about $12 a month and is worth it!!!Your company fixes yours and goes after the other guy . Most companies do not advertise it...you gotta ask. (kinda like collision coverage) Just a FWIW. Dan
