Anybody got any good recipes for elk?

Here's one of my simple favorites done in a crock pot:

Using elk steaks, add beef broth, lots of sliced onions, and about 2 tablespoons of crushed basil. Start the first hour on high, then set it on low for at least six hours.

It will be so tender, you can cut it with fork.
