Parts for 1911-style 40S&W?

1911-style SA handguns in 40S&W seem to be getting rarer these days. Colt only made one in full-size for a short time and now, Kimber has dropped all of their models in 40S&W. I have a Colt full-size and a Kimber Compact Aluminum Stainless in this caliber. Fortunately, I picked up several extra magazines for the Colt when they were readily available. Seems they are a bit more scarce these days. The Kimber is my big problem. I have one factory and one after-market magazine. Kimber was no help and only said that they don't have any more mags for this model. Apparently, they don't support it with any parts.

Full-size Colt (and other brands) magazines work in the Kimber but protrude well below the butt. If anyone knows a source for these magazines, please let me know. I would also like to check out a lower rear sight (e.g., Novak) for the Kimber but am having the same problem identifying a type and source.
