Colt OMM

What a suprise I got from a visit from my uncle. He is a retired police officer, chief and then district judge....a few yrs ago he just passed out and hit the floor..broke his neck 3 places..now paralized from neck down..He spent many a day afield with his older brother..(my dad)..and I as my dad took me with them (I only 9 or so)..He has been avid hunter and fisherman. ..But the suprise was his Colt officer model match 38 special...just wish I could solve his problem..but we share lots of great stories of him, my dad..thanks unk.

skeeter,

Sorry to hear about your uncle's misfortune. Stuff happens and often, it seems, to good people. Here on the farm, no matter what happens, I tell the Frau that no matter what happens, things could be worse.

Take good care of that fine Colt. One of the best matches I ever fired was with a Colt OMM. I borrowed it from a friend and could not pay enough to get it in my name.

Adam

That is one thing about Colt, go back 20-30 years and colt had no problems making a gun that would shoot.
