The irony of it all

Well, I went out the past 2 Saturdays. Seen nothin the 1st time and the 2nd time I seen a buck, but only his antlers and his back as he walked the hill...just right on the other side of it. I was huntin on the ground.

Anyways, as I got up to leave I took a few pics to share...I'll be out again this Saturday. Are ya'll havin any luck? Aint seen many posts....
Here's a rub that's about 40 yrds from my stand. Altough it dont look it, I caint fit my hands round that tree....I'll git him yet...rut's a comin.

Heres another one of some barbed wire that the tree has grown around...that tree is HUGE and got 2 coon livin in it that's mean as snakes lol

red - the rut is full tilt but i am seeing less deer right now becouse when the farmel harvested the does were comeing to the field but he plowed the field and now i am seeing less the does dont like walking the plowed field.
I intend on moveing my stand next weekend to another property but my son does not like the other property becouse he killed his deer here.

I took a nice doe last friday with my compound. I haven't seen any chasing yet, but it's coming in the next couple of weeks.

Michigan rut is underway. I've only been out once and had two does come buy just out of bow range but there is plenty of buck sign in the area. Should be able to get out this week end and hopefully have a story. My cousin did take a nice doe all ready and has seen some bucks.
