41 Blackhawk
I turned 41 this year so it gave me the excuse I needed...lol I found it on GB. It looks like its going to be fun to load for, and its a blast to shoot. Anyone have a favorite load they want to share?

TKO, Favorite fooling around load is CCI 300 primer, 8.0 grs. of (IMR)SR7625 behind a 220 gr. cast bullet for a velocity of 1070 in a S&W Model 57, 6 inch. If you shoot them faster, they may start to lead . Very pleasant and accurate.
Same primer and case(WW), 17.0 grs. Herc 2400, Speer jsp 220gr. at 1220fps. same revolver. Great caliber, little easier to handle than .44 mag.

I got one like that two years ago. I cast a 195 grain SWC out of wheelweights and drop the bullets from the mould into a bucket of water. I load 19 grains of 2400 ahead of a CCI LP primer and the OAL is 39MM. I also load a 210 grain JHP ahead of 18.5 grains of 2400 with an OAL of 40MM. Adam
