				poachers run down landowner

An 83 year old man was run down by poachers, who shot a doe with out a tag apparently near collingwood ont. After hearing shots the old fella went to investigate, but never returned. His wife called the farmer next door to look for him and found him dead.Four men from Toronto have been charged. This is outrgious. These guys should be give the stiffest of penalties where I'm concerned.Like life in prison with absolutely no possibility of parole.

Everybody is different I spose because my idea of stiffest penalty sure as heck would differ greatly from life in prison without the possibility of parole.

My thoughts turn to either a good ol' fashion drawn and quartering with four wheelers on this poor fellers property with perhaps rusty farm tools and a chipper vac thrown in for good measure. To coin a semi-popular movie phrase " be getting all medieval on their a**" |

Yeah, people like that do not deserve life in prison.

I had a client of mine go to jail for 30 days a couple of months ago and I went to visit him. He told me that being in jail was like being on vacation. He got to sleep as much as he wanted, he got 3 hot meals a day, and he had plenty of time to workout. In his case, he probably deserved the "vacation" because it was the result of a violation of probation on a prior drinking and driving charge. These guys deserve hard work, and I mean extremely hard work at the minimum. 18 hours a day of rock breaking would be fine with me. The death penalty would also be fine with me. Granted, this is if they are indeed the ones that killed this old man.
