What the heck happened to the Top mount?
I have been a big fan of Weaver Top-Mount rings for many moons now, just like me, ugly but good. Right now all I can find is the newer Weaver rings, that look almost exactly like Leupold Rifleman rings.
I want the old kind. Any one have them in their area? I checked Bass Pro in OKC, Acadmey and Wally World...........no dice. Now that Weaver Optics owns Weaver Mounts agan, do you think they re-produce them?

Try MidwayUSA.com in Columbia, MO. They have them,,,a lot of smaller gun shops will have them too.
I'm like you, they're ugly, but work real well....I have them on a Savage 10FP 308 with a 10X Leupold,,,look like Hell, but have never lost the zero after 6 years.
