Is a Rem LSS stock worthy of a custom rifle?

I'm considering buying an Rem 700 Laminated Stainless rifle, blueprinting the action and having a new barrel put on. I've always like laminated stocks, but have any of you worked with them, and are these stocks worthy of a custom rifle?

most any stock can be made to work,

ive never realy carred for the lss stock.

but i would build a custom and stick it in mtn rifle stock or reminton classic or something like that.

laminates are great just the lss stock design doesnt lend itself to me.
