				Guess these Calibers

I guess I was bored the other day so I lined up a few rifle cartridges. Not too hard, start on the left and go right. I placed a 20 ga shotgun shell with a quarter to give perception to the photo -- I should actually have taken it closer. Anyway, good luck and I'll post the actual calibers in a few days, Waidmannsheil, Dom.

I don't know but I've been told it's hard to swim with the weight of gold. On the other hand I have heard it said it's just as hard with the weight of lead. |

I wish I had my reloading manual here, but that third cartridge doesn't look like a .22 Hornet to me and the fourth one definitely doesn't look like a .223 round to me. Then again, I have never been good at these "Guess the Cartridge" games.

Very good responses from everyone, impressive. I know it's hard from a picture because you can't 'feel' and eyeball the cases up close.

I keep empty cases from a .270 and a 7x64 in my shooting vest. Throw one on the table, no head stamp looking allowed. Have your buds take a guess -- then throw the other case up on the table. Yea, there's a little difference, but one by itself is difficult, and you have to know what you're looking for. Anyway, thanks everyone for taking a shot, some very close responses. The calibers are: .22 LR .22 WMR .22 Hornet .222 Rem .22-250 Rem .30-30 Win .270 Win .30-06 Springfield 8 x 57 IR .375 H&H Mag |
