Husqvarna made excellent rifles, for more information about them try this site:-
Swedish Civilian & Sporting Firearms You should be able to find out all you wish to know there. I am just wondering however why you brought the rifle if you are not sure of it's reputation and quality  ?

Welcome to the Forum.
What are the markings on your new rifle? Is it a commercial rifle or a reworked military action? Husqvarna made some mighty fine rifles. All the best...

Brith, I called a friend who knew guns who stated it to be a great gun, just wanted another openion.
Gil, it's a commercial gun not a military one. Today I filled my last doe tag with it and couldn't be more pleased with it's reliability. thanks for the input. ........dna

Hi DNA,
Glad to hear you did good with it. I am not very familar with the 1900 model. The only Husqvanrna I have is an older Model 46 made in 1935 and I like it very much  . It was one of the guys on the Swedish forum who told me when mine was made .
