				Need help with Benjamin 342

Today I got my grandfathers old Benjamin air rifle out of the very back of the safe to let a friend clear rabbits out of his garden. I have not shot the thing in years and it wont pump up at all.

				Sounds like

The seals have dried out. I know it is probably not the best fix but oil everything..even some down the bore. Some in the air reservoir tube. Gun oil now...no 30 weight or WD-40..especially no WD-40 or any other solvent like that. I fixed an old Sheridan that way. Still shoots good 10 yrs later...or more

Definitely sounds like dry seals. I agree with the oil er up and see if that swells the seals to make her shoot again.

If not search the net as there are a few individuals out there that can get her back to her original self.
