Scrappy

Just one of many bucks I've been watching while in the tree this season. I see this guy quite often, often enough that he gets his own 1 minute of fame on HC.

Take a look. 2.6MB Streaming video

Nice video work. I know where there's a buck about that size with all his points left intact. I'm saving him for later too.

I put one of my trailcams 5 yards from the tree I’ve been seeing Scrappy in, to see what’s been passin’ thru when I’m not there. This was yesterday morning.

Here's a buck I call "Lil' 8" so aptly named for his little 8 point rack. Got tons of these little guys running by the stand. I should be seeing a monster soon!!! Snow's laying today and they appear to be chasing in some areas already. Even this little guy has a swollen neck

Petey,

man, you're killin' me! LOL! I haven't had much chance to hunt this year (except for a fruitless elk hunt), and won't really until I get back to Ohio and Michigan over Thanksgiving... Man oh man do I miss the big woods back home... really good vid and pics! Hope to see you smiling over a monster.

I haven't been out since Wednesday morning, when the snow squal hit, but I plan on sitting most if not all day Saturday. Hopefully this camera has something to show me when I get there.

I did bust a buck in the morning (I assumed it was one by where it was laying and how close it let me get to it). Scared the heck out of me when he blasted out of there not 10' from me in the pitch black. I figured he must of had a doe pretty tight or something. My assumptions were correct. When I was walking out I cut a nice buck track right on a doe track not 50 yards from where I jumped him. It was fresh in the snow and heading towards my stand. I probably left 15 minutes too early. I guess I'll find out if there's a picture of him on the camera about 9:45 on 10/29! ha ha

He does this when I'm there he'll have an arrow in him since today was fall opener for turkey. Thought this picture was unique

Nothing this morning worth shooting, so hopefully tonight is better.
