Gidday Bosveldjag, Let us know how you go with that 264 winmag. I always thought it would make a mighty good thar rifle. If it knocks over plains game it wouldn't have too hard a time in the Southern Alps. Would also be great for the open tops shooting. Burns up alot of powder though. Thats why I thought a 6.5/06 would be the go. At the mo I am using a 3006 and a 260 rem for this but a little more reach would be good. When are you guys going to get serious about the super12 hey?
