3036 before 338 any day.
but being a 270 fan myself id get a claiber that alot more fun than any 338 ever coud dream of. 17hmr, 22/250 220 270wsm 2506 25wssm 243 257rob 6mm. rifle 44mag. saw the other thread. i dont think you need 30 cal at this moment could be wrong. and your 270 will kill about anything you would want to kill in your area. get something fun not. something thats gona be brutal on you.
