With the proper handloads and the right rifle, you can get the .270 to group as well as or maybe even BETTER than the '06.

I take it you own a 270, making you ignorant to accept simplistic facts of inaccuracy that come along with this cartridge(that is, when compared to either of the '06 cartridges). Most any gun will group well with custom handloads with problems tweaked out in my experience. Please, show me of the 270 grouping "as well as or maybe even BETTER than the '06." Perhaps I will be proved wrong one of these days in the case of the 270 versus 30-06.
