Bothe are Spire Points.
The BTSP is a Boat Tail Spire Point. I've been using them (BTSP) for 20+ yrs on deer with nothing but dead results. It's nice that my Ruger likes em to the tune of honest 3/4" 100yd groups. So either is OK for deer since they are essentially the same.
