To my ears the hornet is at most half the noise of a 223, which makes it a great 150 meter or so varminter. Great for the more populated areas, for both noise and backstop wise. If you reload, you're under half the powder burned to boot. It'll be a foot or so low at 200, depending on your load, Waidmannsheil, Dom.
