$8.75 a box for steel is pretty good. The last time I bought that stuff, I was paying about $18 for a box of Remington Nitro steel in 3 1/2" 12 gauge.
Of course, the Hevi-Shot stuff costs a significant amount more, but I love it. I still cannot believe the mallard hen that I shot at 50 yards straight up 2 years ago and she dropped like a brick with Hevi-Shot.
Also, I patterned Hevi-Shot and it patterns much better than steel, if you can believe that.
