Hi .....I have trapped bobcat and lynx. Cubbie sets are best. I like to use a 330 in a pre-built cubbie. Put some beaver meat or what have you in the back and actually a can of sardines has worked well in the past. Hang an old dried duck wing or an aluminum pie plate froma branch above the set. It will flutter in the wind and attract their attention.

As mentioned by T_S88 they have fairly big ranges and it can take some time for them to make the 'loop'.

I shot a big male lynx 2 winters ago by watching closely and noting the day his tracks showed up going through a ravine on my ranch. I then patterned his route and sat out one morning and nailed him with my .222.
