Adam gave your good advice. I have never seen The Shotgun News or Gun List for sale on local news stands. There are several gun auction websites that may be helpful and are free. They are: AuctionArms at www.auctionarms.com, GunsAmerica at www.Gunsamerica.com and Gunbroker at www.Gunbroker.com. Some of the prices are strange because it is an auction and there are often reserves set on the sale price. The local gun shop sells a lot of guns on these websites because he gets more for the guns than he would from regular customers.

To address your question, I recently bought a mint and matching Argentine 1909 for $250.00. British Enfields prices vary widely based on condition and usually sell for $100.00 to $200.00 around here. Hope this helps. All the best...
