I suspect that most folks have an opinion on long range: what constitutes long range, where they feel comfortable shooting to, and how far an ethical shot should be taken. This, of course, is dependant upon their ability, equipment, and familiarity with their rifle. If you've never shot past 200 yards, regardless of what a ballistic table says you have no business taking a 300 yard shot. gd
