You won't be there anywhere near the rut, so it's going to be hot most likely. I'd go late season and get high as possible each morning. Lots of glassing so take the best bino's you have. Mulies blend in so well with their surroundings, they can be easily missed or overlooked. Big bucks will bed just before or at daylight, staying within 10 yards all day before getting up at last light to feed.

If there are any green fields in the area, find the faint trails (does and young bucks will use the heavy trails as a rule) and set up at least 200 yards up the trail. You'll catch him leaving the field before first light and coming down at last light. You may need to be further up the trail. Hopefully, your guide is spending his spare time watching and glassing through the summer and will know where to set up. Good hunting, grayghost
