Adam,
When I lube my 1911's which is after every shooting outing. I use a synthetic white grease called TW 25 B It was advised to me to use this by my gunsmith,to use sparingly on the slide rails. For everything else I use 5W-30 oil, one drop on the link on the barrel , barrel bushing,barrel locking lugs, and disconnector. One drop on each spot does the trick. Do not over lube, but it does need lubricated, running dry is asking for premature wear and other trouble. Regards 6.5 ![]()
