I have an old 4x Redfield scope... has a crack in the edge of both lenses. Put it on a Rem 552 22 auto. Scope on it(Simmons)just decided to go belly up after shooting well for years. Didn't have much hope cause it was really cracked badly. Shot first round and it shot right to point of aim..no adjustments needed. I like that darn rifle and it's broken ol Redfield just always stays on target. It was in a box of yard sale items I bought for 3 dollars. Sometimes even a blind skwerl finds an acorn.
