I don't do much preseason scouting. I know the area I hunt real well and there are always deer there.
I don't really get into bowhunting until the trees start turning color. As I walk in the woods hunting I pay close attention to sign at that time. The deer in the area I hunt seem to change patterns around early October, then again in December.
