I found many years ago that I could get around 2800 FPS from 140-grain bullets in the 6.5X55 using H4831 (the original stuff). But it was a case full, and had to be loaded carefully to get it all in. Today, I'd try substituting MRP or RE22, since these two have about the same burning rate as H4831, but occupy less volume at the same weight as H4831.
