If it is truly as fresh as you say it is, $450 is a good, fair price. One thing you will want to know is whether that department required the Glock "New York" trigger. If it does then I wouldn't pay that much for it because you'll want to replace the trigger with something better or at least have the connector replaced to bring it down to a 5# pull or even better, a Glockmeister trigger with a 3.5# pull.
Also, is it a 3rd or 4th Generation model. Look for finger grooves on the front of the grip, if they're missing then it's an older 1st or 2nd generation and the price should reflect that as well. BTW, welcome to HuntChat, glad you made it!
